Boxing Clever

I saw Boxing Clever, a farce written and directed by Thomas Cobb, at the Church of the Ascension in Ealing, performed by the Beaufort Players. Set in a self-storage facility, it followed the antics of a number of staff members and facility users over the course of several days. One user, who has recently split from his wife, secretly uses his storage space as a bedroom while his estranged wife takes over the space next door. Meanwhile, a couple of crooks use the facility to store their dodgy goods, while the arrogant manager and his much more able assistant try to keep the whole thing running.

Overall I really enjoyed this play: it was extremely funny, with strong performances and plenty of twists.
