I made my second visit to the Museum of Comedy to see a new show, Seriously Funny, exploring the relationship between two British comedy greats, Kenneth Williams and Tony Hancock. Written and performed by Iain Barton and Wink Taylor, the show, which is produced by Dreamshed Theatre, mixes famous sketches from Hancock’s Half Hour with snippets of the two very different personalities interacting.
For me, this was a bit of a history lesson as I was unfamiliar with both comedians and their work. However I enjoyed the show and the very different performances. The Museum of Comedy is a good place to see shows about comedy greats of yesteryear, and this is no exception.
