Dylan Thomas: Clown in the Moon

As part of the “Dylan Thomas in Fitzrovia” festival, which took place over the weekend in Bloomsbury, I saw a performance of Dylan Thomas: Clown in the Moon at  RADA Studios. This show sees Rhodri Miles impersonating Dylan during his BBC broadcasts: we get poetry, stories, anecdotes and amusing interludes.

As a huge fan of Dylan Thomas, I thoroughly enjoyed this performance. Miles is excellent at portraying the hard-drinking poet and has the stage presence to engage the audience for the duration of the show. It’s always a treat to be able to hear Thomas’s poetry spoken aloud, and I had a really good time.
