Swan Song

Swan Song, a little-performed work by Anton Chekhov, was revived at the Lord Stanley pub recently. Produced by Little Goblin Productions, adapted by Chris Diacopoulos and directed by Chris Diacopoulos and Victor Sobchak, it is a tragicomic tale about the life of a middling, ageing actor. Diacopoulos, clearly multi-talented, plays the central character of Alex, and conveys his character very well. A strong supporting cast also helps this production to succeed.
