See How They Run

The debut production from the Reduced Height Theatre Company, set up by Warwick Davis to create roles for short actors without reference to their size, See How They Run is a highly entertaining farce originally written by Philip King to provide some light relief to theatregoers during the Second World War. It follows the Reverend Lionel Troop, his former actress wife Penelope, her former flame and an escaped German prisoner of war in a fast-paced and very funny play involving mistaken identity, midnight chases and characters locked in cupboards.

My only slight criticism is that I feel the production didn’t need an interval – it halted the pace and I feel it would have been better to let it run straight through. However, I still thoroughly enjoyed myself.
